General Terms and Conditions of Service

  1. Services: Wisemont Language Services, with registered address: 26 A Southend Road, Grays, RM17 5NH, Essex, United Kingdom, provides various language services including but not limited to: translations, proofreading, editing, transcription, transliteration, copywriting, content marketing, social media management, language consultancy etc.
  2. Pricing: The services and rates are listed on the company’s website wisemont.com; where a bespoke service is requested that is not featured on the list, a bespoke quote shall be provided by Wisemont Language Services through email, telephone, instant message or any other means of communication that the company engaged in with the client.
  3. Purchase order: A clear indication of intent from the client to purchase the discussed service, expressed though email, telephone, instant message or any other means of communication that the company engaged in with the client, constitutes a Purchase Order. No separate purchase order will be issued unless requested by the client or an individual contractor.
  4. Cancellations policy: Upon receiving purchase order Wisemont Language Services will start work immediately. Cancelling the service by the client is only possible within 30 minutes of placing the purchase order through email, telephone, instant message or any other means of communication that the company engaged in with the client and receiving a confirmation that the order has been cancelled. Cancelling the order later than after 30 minutes of making the Purchase Order will mean that the client will be liable for 100% of the service value.
  5. Quality and returns: Wisemont Language Services invests all effort to ensure the services provided are of the highest quality. If the service does not meet your expectations, you have 14 working days to notify Wisemont Language Services about it and request necessary improvements to be made. Wisemont Language Services will make reasonable improvements free of charge within that period of time only, on the original files provided to the client.
  6. Payments: Payments for all services are in British Pound Sterling (GBP). The payment methods are: bank transfer, international bank transfer, PayPal.
  7. Pre-paid services form the online store: the clients can purchase services directly from the online store on wisemont.com Invoices for those services will be issued upon request.
  8. Invoiced services: Payment for individual one-off services: an invoice for individual one-off service shall be issued as soon as possible after completion and delivery of the service.
  9. First-time clients: First-time clients purchasing invoiced services in the value of 100 GBP or higher are required to deposit 70% of the amount due upon receiving the invoice and the remaining amount within the invoicing period.
  10. Watermarked preview copy: Before the receipt of the payment in the 70% invoice the client will receive a watermarked, non-editable preview copy of the product. The full editable product without watermark will be released upon receipt of the payment or payment confirmation.
  11. Monthly billing: for clients purchasing recurrent services or packages billed monthly, the invoice for the services will be delivered within 10 working days after the end of the month for which the service is billed.
  12. Invoicing period: The invoicing period for individual services is 15 days. The invoicing period for monthly billed services is 30 days.
  13. Late payment: late payments received later than 14 days after the end of the invoicing period will be subject to 20% late payment interest rate. A separate invoice for the late payment interest will be issued subject to the same terms and conditions as general invoices for services.
  14. Acceptance of terms and conditions: The client should read terms and conditions of service before placing the order. Placing the order will be construed as accepting the terms and conditions of service.
